Device especially studied for Pfaff 543-712/02, created
to reduce costs and to simplify the external and internal basting
works, usually sewn with a skipping-stich flat-bed machine.
Equipped with ARGO electronic motor.
- Low speed (about 300 r.p.m.) for stitch by stitch bastings.
- High speed (about 950 r.p.m.) that shortens the time required for
sewing normal
bastings, with stich 4/5 cm. long.
· Advantages are: thread saving, shortening of the manifacturing time, good quality bastings. It must also be remembered that the pieces to be sewn need to be placed on the machine table only once. Each time the thread is cutted, the piece of clothing has just to be moved to the next position.
· To cut the threads the operator simply has backpress slightly the
machine footboard, and the thread trimmer will start, leaving the
upper thread (needle), the lower thread (bobbin) and the threads on
the piece of clothing all of the same length (5cm.). Stop and thread
trimming can also be done while the machine is working, like a normal
thread trimmer.
· The use of the flat-bed basting machine, equipped with the
component "Rasafilo CG 2000", does not require any particular operator
training.
